Music is My Voice is and illustrated children’s book designed to inspire young children to get into playing musical instruments. Music has been a huge part of my life, so for my final undergraduate project, I wanted to create something which honoured that, so this book was incredibly meaningful for me and I had a lot of fun making it! I wanted to use imagery to capture the vibrancy and joy of musical sound, in this explosion of colour and texture. The mixed media illustrations were created using a combination of traditional mark making techniques and digital collage using Procreate.
